It All Started with a Plant Sale

I found a small hydrangea plant at a nursery. I brought it home… unsure if it would survive.

Choose the Right Pot

I picked a pot with good drainage. Hydrangeas hate wet roots! I added loose, rich soil.

The Perfect Spot

Hydrangeas love morning sun  and afternoon shade  I placed mine near an east-facing window.

Watering Right

They get thirsty... I water when the top soil feels dry. But I never let the pot stay soggy.

Blue or Pink Flowers?

Soil pH changes flower color! Acidic = Blue Alkaline = Pink

Care and Pruning

After flowering, I cut old blooms and weak stems. That helps new buds grow next season.

Every bloom felt magical. I never thought I could grow these at home. But I did — and you can too.
